The Major Incident Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the response to critical incidents that have a significant impact on business operations. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, and implementing incident management best practices to minimize the impact of disruptions.1. Incident Identification and Assessment:Rapidly assess and identify major incidents, classifying their impact and urgency.Collaborate with relevant teams to gather information and understand the scope of the incident.

Incident Coordination:Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams during the resolution of major incidents.Prioritize and allocate resources effectively to address critical issues promptly.Maintain a centralized incident log and track resolution progress.2. Communication:Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including executives, IT teams, and end-users.Provide regular updates on the incident status, resolution progress, and expected timelines.3. Root Cause Analysis:Conduct thorough root cause analysis for major incidents to prevent recurrence.Work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and improvements.Secondary Skills1. Documentation:Document incident details, resolution processes, and post-incident reports.Contribute to the development and maintenance of incident management procedures.2.
